Introduction

Born Jahidul Hasan Sakib, SAKIB is a Bangladeshi DJ, music producer, and electronic music artist from Dhaka whose career is built on passion, creativity, and artistic independence. Active as a professional DJ since 2009 and a music producer since 2015, he has spent more than fifteen years establishing a distinctive presence in Bangladesh's electronic music scene while reaching audiences worldwide through internationally released music.

Early Journey

Entirely self-taught, SAKIB's journey began with VirtualDJ, where he independently mastered beatmatching, mixing, music programming, and crowd reading. Through years of dedication and continuous practice, he progressed from software-based performances to playing on professional industry-standard DJ equipment, transforming his passion into a successful career.

Music Production

In 2015, SAKIB expanded his creative vision by entering music production. Once again choosing the self-taught path, he learned FL Studio independently while developing skills in composition, arrangement, sound design, and modern production techniques. His commitment to constant learning has allowed him to craft a unique and evolving musical identity.

Musical Style

SAKIB's signature sound blends emotional melodies with powerful club energy, drawing inspiration from Melodic Techno, Progressive House, Afro House, Tech House, and contemporary electronic music. His productions feature cinematic atmospheres, driving basslines, hypnotic grooves, and memorable melodies designed for both intimate club environments and large festival stages.
